Privacy policy

The short version

We don't use cookies or advertising trackers, we don't sell data, and our free tools don't send what you type anywhere.

What we collect

• Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.
• Library searches. When you search the library, we record the search words, the number of results and the page, so we know what to cover next. We don't store your IP address or any identifier with them, and we discard searches that look like an email address or phone number. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes IP addresses to deliver pages.
• Email address, if you subscribe. Our newsletter is run by beehiiv. The subscribe button takes you to beehiiv's signup page, where beehiiv's own privacy policy applies; it stores your email address and sends the emails. Nothing from beehiiv loads on this site. You can unsubscribe from any email.
• Emails you send us. Kept only to reply and fix things.

Free tools

The calculators and builders run in your browser. What you type isn't sent to us or stored. Your inputs only go into the page address if you click "Copy link to this result". Then they're part of the link you share, and our cookieless visit statistics may see that address. Don't share the link if the numbers are private.

Links to other sites

Pages link to official sources and vendor sites, which have their own privacy policies. Affiliate links pass through our own redirect, and the vendor's site may then set its own cookies.
